Ravi Nath, PhD
Dr. Ravi Nath is a Professor in the department of Business Intelligence and Analytics at Creighton University Heider College Business. The classes he teaches include Current Readings in Business Intelligence and Analytics and Statistical Analysis. He is passionate about education and takes great interest in the changing landscape of analytics.
He says “IT and analytics are constantly evolving. I find the challenge of keeping up very exciting and motivating”.
Prior to joining Creighton, Dr Nath served as the Associate Dean for Academic Programs and Director of the Ph.D. program in Management Information Systems at the University of Memphis. He has been awarded Fulbright Scholarships to the University of Zimbabwe in 1992-1993 and the Polytechnic of Namibia in 2012. Dr. Nath received the University of Memphis' Distinguished Teaching Award in 1995.
His ongoing research interests include analytics capability models and digital distractions in the classroom.
Dr. Nath received his PhD from Texas Tech University. In addition to academia, Dr. Nath serves on the Board of Directors of several for-profit and non-profit organizations. In addition, he enjoys adventure travelling and cooking.
