Students Guide Transition At Red Cloud Indian School
Our World is Moving to Online Learning. And These Students Are Leading The Charge.
Isaac Piepszowski, a student in Creighton University’s Master Of Education in Secondary School Teaching program is a making a difference in the lives of children, while he pursues his passion for education. As a member of the Magis Catholic Teacher Corps, a two-year, graduate volunteer program at Creighton, Piepszowski is gaining first-hand experience working within a Catholic school on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. He and his fellow Magis classmates are helping the students at the Red Cloud Indian School transition to online learning.
Piepszowski is happy to praise his fellow classmates, saying “there’s a great Creighton presence here, and I think, honestly, the Creighton students are leading the charge in terms of handling the situation. There’s some really good model teachers in the Magis program doing some really great work.”
