3D Printing Workshop for Teachers

Learn how to bring 3D printing to your classroom. Designed for teachers who are new to 3D printing, this three-day workshop covers what you need to know about the related software and hardware, plus we’ll explore the opportunities that 3D printing offers to students. Participants will learn about the basics of 3D software, create their own designs and go hands on with their 3D printer.

The course includes lesson plans and tips and tricks for getting the most out of your 3D printing experience. When the 3D printing workshop is over, participants will each get a 3D printer and filament to take back to their classroom.

“This course was the ultimate in hands-on learning! You learn every step of the process from setting up the printer, to using the software, to actually printing, while under the guidance of an expert to help with troubleshooting. I loved how much time we had to practice the skills we were learning. Meeting and learning with and from colleagues from other schools was great too. It was a very valuable learning opportunity!”
