Intro Text
Successful leaders understand that the success and engagement of their employees is dependent upon their own personal engagement, health and happiness. Creighton University’s unique one-year graduate certificate program in Leadership and Well-Being can help you optimize your own well-being and that of others in your organization by prioritizing quality of life. This can generate meaningful, positive change, and spark a lasting impact on the health and contentment of individuals within your organization.
Description

Employee well-being involves more than health and fitness. This online graduate certificate program takes a whole-person approach by examining factors such as financial health, stress, social and community needs, fatigue, mind and body awareness, nutrition, failure and resiliency, culture, and purpose. By the end of the program, you’ll gain an extensive knowledge of well-being principles and practices and learn how to apply them as a leader in your workplace setting.

“My job as a professor is to recognize that there is a work life balance going on for you as there is for me. The program isn’t easy—it’s rigorous—but it’s structured in a way that you can take your own pace.”

—Tom Lenz, PharmD | Professor and Program Director, Graduate School

Leadership coaching is most effective when practitioners model good behavior. That’s why when you earn your certification in leadership and well-being, you’ll also learn to build resilience and ensure that you’re practicing well-being techniques in your own life.

Study the intersection of leadership and well-being on your terms

All five courses within the leadership coaching certificate program are completed entirely online, allowing you to study whenever and wherever it makes sense for you. The credits can later be applied toward a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership or a Master of Science in Integrative Health and Wellness, should you decide to continue your education and pursue a master’s degree.
