Learn the skills you need to succeed as a health and wellness professional with Creighton University’s Graduate Certificate in Lifestyle Medicine.
Description

You’ll learn from faculty members and practitioners across various disciplines in this interdisciplinary program—which will prepare you to work as part a diverse team of health care professionals. You’ll learn to take a whole-person approach in designing, implementing and modifying lifestyle medicine programs and explore the many factors that impact an individual’s health, from nutrition to exercise to sleep to stress management and more.

“When I talk with students who graduated, they all say the same thing: I view health and my interactions with patiently differently now than I used to. I understand more about the person because of this combination of the natural sciences that Creighton’s health sciences programs bring.”

—Tom Lenz, PharmD | Professor and Program Director, Graduate School

This online certificate program combines Creighton’s Jesuit values, including care for the whole person (cura personalis) and preventive medicine to make you even more effective in your practice. Understanding that many of the factors that determine an individual’s health are environmental and behavioral, this program stresses the importance of making healthy and sustainable lifestyle changes in preventing, treating and reversing chronic disease.
