Are you passionate about helping others and furthering your own spiritual journey? A Master of Arts in Ministry from Creighton University can help you answer your calling.
Description

After earning this seminary degree, you’ll be prepared to serve in various professional capacities within the Catholic church and other Christian denominations, or in a faith-based role outside of the church. As you complete your biblical studies, you’ll also gain a deeper understanding of Christian Spirituality and tradition.

A religious education that can shape you in heart, mind and soul

At Creighton, you’ll learn about serving in a Christian role from leaders in the field—faculty members in the MA in Ministry program are widely published and recognized for excellence nationally and internationally. They’re also engaging teachers who model Jesuit values in the classroom and beyond. Professors give all of their students personal attention, serving as mentors who genuinely want to educate you as an individual and give you the tools to drive positive change.

There are also plenty of opportunities for self-reflection. One of the highlights of this program is an eight-day spiritual retreat that gives you the time to take a step back from your busy, everyday life and work on your personal formation. During this time, you’ll explore your life, your sense of who God is, your identity in Christ and how God is inviting you to serve.

Take a path that fits your schedule

Courses in Creighton University’s Master of Arts in Ministry program are offered online, in eight-week terms, year-round. On-campus residency are held in the summer, when students come together for week-long seminars that offer personal, spiritual and professional development.

Students typically take one course at a time and complete the ministry degree program in about three years while continuing to work full-time. Taking Creighton’s online master in ministry courses can be a great way to further your biblical studies on your schedule.
