Utilize applied research to enhance your career
Many students choose Creighton’s Interdisciplinary Leadership doctoral program because of its flexibility and limited on-campus requirements. You can enjoy taking all of your classes online, while experiencing the advantage of networking with faculty and peers during a required, on-campus residency in week eight of your first term. In addition, you will visit campus about halfway through the program as you formally begin work on your dissertation. We find that this approach allows students to continue to grow in their career and take care of what’s important to them.
You’ll take a series of eight-week courses, focusing on one course at a time. Research for your dissertation is evidence-based and can address challenges within your workforce, industry or field. You will be encouraged to choose a topic of personal importance for your research, so you’ll experience both personal and professional growth through practical, focused research opportunities. This allows you to immediately apply what you’re learning to your life and career as you complete the program.
