Join us for Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) training
Scrum is an Agile framework for product development. In our ScrumMaster® course, you’ll learn about the history of Agile development and the disciplines promoted by Scrum. Scrum can apply to many industries such as IT, finance, government, health care, telecommunications, construction, education, insurance, automotive, manufacturing and others that need to develop high-quality solutions quickly. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of the Scrum methodology while reviewing the behaviors expected of a Certified ScrumMaster®.
Our ScrumMaster® certification training is led by a Scrum Alliance® Certified Trainer through a partnership with the Collaborative Leadership Team and will cover:
- Techniques for managing product backlogs
- Long- and short-range planning
- Project execution
- Progress reporting
In-depth discussions, exercises and case studies will reinforce the ideas learned.
After taking this course, your information will be submitted to the Scrum Alliance®, and you will be eligible to take the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) online exam. You must participate in both days of training to be eligible for submission to Scrum Alliance®.
It is not necessary for you to have experience working in an Agile environment; however, project management experience is helpful.
If you are a Creighton employee and wish to utilize tuition remission for this course, please complete the application.
